Vibrant Night

This project is to design a display font style. The theme of my font is Cantonese Night Market. It is called Vibrant Night. I was inspired by the traditional Cantonese restaurant signs. And I designed this typeface to evoke an intimate collective memory that Cantonese can identify with. By doing this, I aim to increase the sense of cultural belonging for the younger generation of Cantonese. The usage of this font could be various but the perfect use is on food packages and related graphic works.
